Memorial Day Fry Off @ Grocery’s 5.25.09

Posted: May 27th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Photography, Uncategorized, WTF? |

My good friend Jim “Grocery” Leabig held a fry off this past Memorial Day. The premise? Bring anything that can be fried. Things got out of control quickly……..Fried macaroni and cheese squares, deep fried bacon, corn brats, onion rings, swiss cheese brat egg rolls, fried Oreos, fried Snickers, fried Reese’s peanut butter cups, and last but not least fried Laffy Taffy! Mix that in with plenty of home brews getting passed around and you have one hell of a party!

Photo Shoot: Rockwell Knuckles

Posted: May 14th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Photography |

I did this shoot last week with local MC Rockwell Knuckles. He is my favorite STL MC and one of my favorite MC’s in general. He is full of character in real life and on stage. These shots are from a 3 part series shot by local photogs that will contribute to his new promo campaign. I was happy to lend my lens to the movement. Check him out at http://www.myspace.com/rockwellknuckles.

Photo Shoot: The Cool Kids @ Wash U – 4.24.09

Posted: May 13th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Photography |

The company I work for, Ch’rewd, manages The Cool Kids. They came to St. Louis and rocked the annual WILD festival at Wash U. They put on a great show! Shot with the Nikon D90 and 17-55 2.8 lens. Some fill flash here and there.

I shot The Cool Kids for a month straight last November / December during the 2K9 Bounce Tour. It was my first real experience shooting anything with a pro-cam, especially live shows. I think it turned out decent. You can see that collection here.
